On June 9th 1990 Kevin Lizaire aka "Young Star" was born into a Haitian family and raised in Hartford CT. In his younger days he wasn't’t into music as much; but he had a passion for basketball. Being 5 years old "Young Star" wanted to be a pro ball player that was his dream. In the 5th grade while watching 106&park he discovered Freestyle Friday.He was so intrigued that soon enough he was inspired to write music.Young Star grew up listening to a lot of the Ruff Ryder's, Jay-z, 2pac, Biggie Smalls, G- Unit just to name a few. In Young Star words "I don’t have a set style other than versatile I like being different so if I have an idea I run with it. Another thing I'm different that's just a FACT I record and engineer all of my own songs got swagg just trying to get to the top and be successful.Young Star still resides in Windsor C.T LOOK OUT for the mix tape "The Engineer."
