About Band

Trey Rushing - is the owner of Rush-In Lube in Sonora and has been writing and performing his own songs for close to 20 years. Trey started with strong country influences like George Strait and the great Hank Williams, but has expanded his range to rock and even christian since his spiritual awakening and deep passion for the Lord. Trey is currently playing a Seagull acoustic/electric as his main stage guitar.

Tom Bob Wilson - is a natural gas production operator for HighMount Exploration and Production. Tom has been playing guitar since the age of 9. After learning the basics, Tom began listening to fingerstyle guitarists such as Chet Atkins, Merle Travis and Jerry Reed, which led to him using a thumb pick and three fingernails to pick with. Tom later found influence from other greats, such as rock and blues artists like Jimi Hendrex, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Albert King and Eric Clapton and even jazz masters like Les Paul, Django Reinhardt, Wes Montgomory and Lenny Breau. Tom is a gear nut and at the time is playing a Fender Tele Plus with Texas Special tele bridge, hotrail mid, and mini humbucker neck, Gibson SG 57 classic neck, 57 classic plus bridge, G&L Legacy SD little 59 neck and bridge, Fender Deluxe Players Strat with vintage noiseless PUs, a short scale Ventura bass converted to a Bass VI with Lace Sensor silver PUs and a 1960 Gretsch 6120 with TV Jones PUs among others thru a '69 Fender Twin Reverb, a Peavey all-tube Blues Classic and a Silvertone 1484 Twin 12 amp.

Blaine Crawford - is currently working in Eldorodo, TX for a roustabout company. Blaine has been playing bass since high school. As the elder of the group, he has played in Sonora, San Angelo and Dallas and has 30+ years experience playing everything from Black Sabbath to Hank Williams. Blaine has a great ear to pick up new songs and the impeccable timing that is the anchor of 277 Souths music. Blaine's broad range of musical experience has given him a style that is not only versatile but distinct. Blaine is currently playing a Fender P bass thru a Marshal amp.

Tyler "Stix" Yarbro -is the youngest member of 277 south from the thriving metropolis of Christoval, TX just on up Hwy 277 from Sonora. He is just out of school and his own style for drums is becoming more obvious every day evolving into an important part of the 277 South sound. He is currently playing a Pearl kit in transparent sunrise burnt orange over maple. And, he's the only one who didn't go to school in Sonora, so if ya want an autograph, he can write...
