The "3 J's in the A.M." are actually from the Philly suburb of Stratford, NJ but they are a Philly based band. They have been together for roughly 8 years now and have been rocking the bar scene steadily for the past 5 years. The J's are very diverse and apeal to almost everyone. Great songwriting, great lyrics, great hooks, great live shows, and great stage presence has gotten this great band some much deserved respect in the local Philly music scene. The J's have played legendary places such as The Stone Pony, The Pontiac Grille, Grape Street Pub, The Trocadero, and a laundry list of random places in PA, NJ, & NY. The are influenced by damn near everything. Some of their major influences include The Beatles, The Strokes, Cake, Weezer, The Shins, Pearl Jam, The Dave Matthews Band, The Rentals, Ben Harper, The Silversun Pick-ups, Led Zepelin, The Beastie Boys, Bright Eyes, Modest Mouse, Built To Spill, The Hold Steady, and The Doors. As you can see they are extremely well rounded when it comes to good music. This band does not disapoint!
