About Band
5 Levels Up are a Cape Town-based band that plays a mixture of R&B;, Jazz, Dance Music, Ballads and Soft Rock.
The band was formed in November 2010 by founder Mark Samuels under the guidance of leading South African musicians. After member recruitment, scheduled rehearsals and work put into motion the band took stage in no time. Shortly after being musically active in Cape Town, they were invited to the Grahamstown National Arts Festival where they shared the stage with some of the biggest names in the SA music industry. The band consists of:
