Born out of a love for the music that has shaped generations, 7th Strain is a unification of the immeasurable talents of
Ryan Yniguez (Vocals), Matt Grubaugh (Guitar), Evan Rowe (Bass) and Jason Vander Pal ( Drums )
Each has paid their dues and poured out blood and sweat on countless stages to get to where they are now. Passionate and powerful are the sounds that shake the rafters and rattle bottles behind the bar.



7th Strain, a 4 piece rock band based out of Southern California, comes from 3 of the largest counties in SoCal. Los Angeles, OC, and San Bernardino. They do have their influences and inspirations, however, they don't necessarily follow a certain trend.



The sounds that blast from both stage and stereo belie the band’s relative youth. Whether you are experiencing them live or just listening to the CD, you are treated to a musical tour de force. A good band is always stronger than the sum of its parts, and 7th Strain takes that strength and builds on it every day, making them one of the up and coming band of today. Each member both challenges and encourages each other, as a band of brothers, focused on letting their voice be heard so that their message reaches out as far as sound will travel.
