Some things happen for a reason, but sometimes it is just destiny. Just one moment can change everything. In January of 2007 four young and ambitious musicians gathered up in a cold basement practice room. A lot of different thoughts ran trough their heads, but they all felt this connection between each other. It was just a simple idea: Leaving everything behind and go for something new. This is not just a group of 4 guys playing music together: This is a band. A bitter pill.


They just don’t want to be pushed in any kind of genre. They just play and write the music, they like to hear. Sometimes melancholic and melodic otherwise aggressive and emotional. And also important: The lyrics. A bitter pill just reproduce what they feel. Love,hate,death and the feeling of being rejected are just some of the topics they pick up in their songs. It’s just about everything you got to deal with in life. The main intention is to touch the audience emotionally.


By finishing their Debut-EP “a small step to recovery”, A bitter pill are now ready to reach up for the stars, and maybe catch one!
