Alexxs, a 14 year-old artistic phenomenon was born to entertain and mesmerize an audience with her unique style, melodic tone and vocal maturity. Her presence will embrace the ever-changing world of music with such greatness, that her 14 years will appear obsolete. Born in Phoenix, Arizona , she definitely had a unique flair for singing as early as 3 years-old. She loved being in pageants because she was intrigued with performing. Like most little girls, she liked dressing up, but when she performed, she was in a world of her own and those pink can-can dresses didn’t mean a thing. Her destiny was realized at an age when most girls were playing with baby dolls and singing nursery rhymes. Alexxs stunned an audience at a pageant at the age of 3 when she didn’t sing a nursery rhyme like, “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star”. On that day a star was born as she belted out the theater version of “Castle on a Cloud”. She continues performing and perfecting her talents as a complete artist. ‘I realize I have a long way to go and I’m willing to work hard and give 200%, because this is my dream”, says a confident Alexxs. She is on her way to fulfilling her dream as a Pop/Rock artist. She is not of fan of categories, but she admits this is fitting because the songs she performs are popular, soul filled and sometimes edgy. The diversity of her favorite artists, FeFe Dobson, Alicia Keys and Mariah Carey, also reflect in her variations of style. This one day musical icon has recently performed at Skye, a ritzy dinner club in north Phoenix and opened up for world renowned motivational speaker, Les Brown in 2005. She will be auditioning for “Amateur Night, Showtime at the Apollo, and August 19, 2007 in Las Vegas, performing at The Sets in Tempe Arizona, August 26, 2007, and performing at the “YEA, in Las Vegas , November 8, 2007. She has been in the studio with multi-talented producer and songwriter, Sylvia Bennett-Smith who has written and produced songs for artists, such as, Tyrese, Destiny’s Child, Heather Headley and the legendary, Gladys Knight. Her debut album will be a masterpiece and songs like, “You Don’t Know Me”, “Daddy’s Girl”, and “One of Those Days” shows the genius compilation of Bennett-Smith and Alexxs. She’s going places and her journey was mapped out a long time ago. Alexxs, a songwriter, pianist and acoustic guitarist is reaching for the stars as her love for music, support from family, a strong spiritual foundation and the gift of song soars right along with her, ALL THE WAY TO THE TOP!
