Being raised on a farm in upstate New York, there wasn't a lot of time for much else than work. But when I turned fifteen, my adopted Grandpa paid a visit from Alabama and brought his hollowbox with him. From the moment I saw and heard him play, I was hooked. It wasn't long and my brother and I were jamming on our guitars, and experimenting with the violin, squeezing it into every spare moment of our lives. He went his way and started playing lead, slide, and eventually the bass, but I stayed with the acoustic and began scribbling out songs, that filled up notebook after notebook. It hasn't been until recently, however, that I've really pursued the songwriting career. Who knows how far it will go, but someday I want to turn on the radio and hear my song playing. Maybe someone out there reading this will hear the songs that I'm so proud of and my songs will go somewhere. Until then, enjoy, and thanks for stopping by!
