About Band
From the south east suburbs of Melbourne comes the young alternative rock band Amazetti. Having been together since late 2005 as Inertia but more recently altering their line up, to become Amazetti. The 5 piece played shows throughout Melbourne at venues including the Sidney Myer Music Bowl and were contenders for Pushover 2007 at the Docklands. After little more than a year, the band had played alongside some of their idols including Silverchair, Grinspoon, British India, Dallas Crane, Kisschasy and Gyroscope to name a few. The boys, each influenced by a variety of genres and styles come together to create a musical concoction of what has been described as ‘hard to loophole’ and ‘unclassified’ by critics and writers of Impress and Beat magazines as well as local newspapers around town. Amazetti's self titled EP is soon to be released with a compilation of songs that fans have been waiting for. Keep checking the space for more details!
