The Amity Adrift project began in late 2009 by All-around musician Tyler Skura. After playing guitar, bass, drums, piano/keyboards, and writing songs/lyrics for his band "Self Destructus" for the last few years, he felt it was time to start a project of his own. Unlike Self Destructus, being a power metal band (IE: Dragonforce, Sonata Arctica), Amity Adrift focuses around a more cultured genre ranging from fusion, progressive jazz and progressive rock to various forms of metal (IE: Dream Theater, Yes, Pink Floyd). Amity Adrift is currently looking for musicians. So if you are between the ages of 15 and 20 years of age and are able to play to the standards of Dream Theater, Yes or Pink Floyd (or a bit below), don't feel shy about giving us a shout! Pianist is top priority.
