AnAkA (pronounced Anna-Kuh) is a Heavy Metal/ Hard Rock band from Brooklyn, New York, USA, whose musical influences are Alice In Chains, Metallica, Megadeth, Black Label Society, Corrosion Of Conformity, Slipknot, Down, Godsmack, Killswitch Engage and Black Sabbath. AnAkA was originally formed in 2000 and since then has established a fan base all over the world. AnAkA has performed and headlined world famous NYC and NJ venues such as Irving Plaza, Warsaw, CBGB's, The Continental, Don Hill's, L'Amour, Brooklyn Music Terminal, Count Basie Theatre, just to name a few. AnAkA is a powerful live band, which can move their audience sonically, physically, and even psychologically.
