About Artist
Born in Bucharest , Anca relocated to The UK in 2003 in order to pursue her career as a singer-songwriter-producer.
Anca has created her own style, mainly pop orientated, spiced up with funky guitars and modern drumbeats. Amongst her favourite bands and artists are: Queen, Keane, U2, Maroon 5, Scissor Sisters, Faithless, Massive Attack, Jocelyn Brown, Cher, Annie Lennox, Seal, George Michael. While being greatly influenced by some of the above, her sound still retains its uniqueness. Possessed of a distinguished voice, not to mention an intriguing tone which gives it an enigmatic and ethereal quality, her sound is both easy to recognise and remember. Often Anca has been described as a cross between Gwen Stefani and Madonna.
