And We Keep Falling is an alternative rock group based and formed within the suburbs, between Reading and Allentown PA. This three piece band is comprised of a drummer- Tim Jackson, a bassist- Derek (D-Reck) DeLong and a rhythm guitarist and lead vocalist- Bobby Stasko.
Derek, born and raised in Topton Pennsylvania, began his musical journey at age eight when a 1970s Epiphone bass guitar was passed down by his father, in hopes that Derek may have inherited his passion for music. It is through this passion that Derek has transcended and become an all around talented musician.
About a mile down the street, within the quiet farmlands of Mertztown Pennsylvania, Tim grasped his first set of drumsticks and has been behind his set ever since. It didnt take him long to break the sound barriers and show his town what music was all about. With his drive for perfection and serious motivation he has become the talented musician that he is today.
Just two houses up, at age eight, Bobby held his first guitar, an early 80s Gibson acoustic, on which he aspired to become the musician that his father once was. He and his brother would play for hours, attempting to mimic any and every note that they heard. It made them feel like their father was still here on earth with them. Since then he has proven his musical talent, not only through his guitar playing but through his vocal talent as well.
Fast forward 13 years and you will find a band with the talent and drive to surpass many. It will never be about the money with them. Its all about the passion of making the music and the pride to know that you can. They are that drop of pure water, in a polluted city stream.
