Well, if you can't stand hard music with lots of screaming, angry guitar-riffs and mad break-downs, this band is probably nothing for you!
Although, if you belong to the lucky people, who are into modern hardcore, rock or metal, you will definitely love this band and should you ever hear about them playing anywhere near you, take the chance to see them live.
You will notice really quickly, that An Early Cascade's shows are not only for the ears, but also for the eyes.
Yes, there is much more you can do on stage than head-banging!
An Early Cascade was founded in spring 2004 in Stuttgart, South Germany.
In the beginning, An Early Cascade sounded much softer than today, as you can hear on their first self-titled 7-track EP, they recorded at Sepia Studios in 2005. Or maybe you won't, because it's already sold out.
2005 was a year with many changes for the band.
Next to a line-up change, the band worked much harder than before. They focused on their songwriting more and the distinctive sound of An Early Cascade, you know today, was born!
Faster, harder, a lot more melodic and intense.
Since 2005 An Early Cascade have played about 60 shows, managed and booked them on their own and shared the stage with bands like The Chariot(USA), Architects(UK), Maroon(DE), Fire In The Attic(DE), Razor Crusade(NL), Naeara(DE) and A Case Of Grenada(DE).
2006 the follow-up record, a 5-track EP called A Murderer's Day, was recorded at the Maranis Studios in Backnang, Germany.
A Murderer's Day was released in december 2006 and has been available at shows and on the internet, since then.
