Years ago, back in 1993, Eileen 'Angelina' Godwin, formally none as- Eileen Hammerschmidt, was forever changed by music. Eileen was on her own for the first time working at a place called Jox Sports Club. Now this place may not sound like much, but your wrong, there was energy happening behind the scenes that she was not aware of at the time. Eileen worked with a bunch of very talented people, some at that time were not even aware of their own talents. They all appeared to be bartenders, waitresses, barbacks or whatever, but when the doors closed and the lights turned off, they would just be getting started with their own fun. Everybody would hang out at someone's house after work 'til the sun came up playing improv jams and sharing goods vibes, then hit the beach. This, what seamed like a paid vacation, lasted for about 3 years. They all became very close, like family. Eileen was taught how to play guitar and tap into her own creativety from those close friends and great times.

Her first song that she learned how to played on the guitar was 'Jane Says' by Janes Addiction. This is a great song to learn some basic keys to and just an all around Classic tune. She quickly learned it and moved on to learn more notes on the guitar through playing music with the gang. Eileen also learned how to play from her ear and after playing for a while she started to come up with her own tunes. Eileen had some really good music incubating and it was really an exciting time for her.

 In 1996, she became a part of a duo acoustic band named 'Just BE'.  Eileen gained so much knowledge and experience from 'Just BE'.  'Just BE' accomplished some great things,  in 2003 they recorded a heartfelt emotional 4 song demo, that to this day Eileen is still very proud of. Then they traveled across the country to California to share their music. They went to Venice,CA to just walk around like everybody else does and by total surprise they were approached to get their picture taken to represent Venice, CA in a wonderful coffee table book called California 24/7. That was as famous as they got in those times. Hey it's not their music, but it was something torwards 'Just BE'. They didn't get to share their music the way they wanted to, but in the end was it really their plan or a blessing?

'Just BE' traveled back across the country to their home of Florida due to survival reason's and eventually they both went on our own paths of creativity. After they went their own ways Eileen 'Angelina' went on a 2 year hyatis and focused on her family and healed some major wounds that she created. In the last 6 months she has been slowly getting back into vibe again. Instead of relying on someone else to record or produce her music, she with the help of her wonderful supportive husband, purchased a recording studio. Now a Solo-Artist and Producer, she goes under the name of 'Angelina'.  She is in a new, but somewhat familiar world, "This time I am playing music to make ME happy, to move ME and if you happen to like it and you are moved as well, then by all means listen to it again! My goal for my music this time is to not take it so seriously. In other words, To have fun, Not to worry about saving the world, but to save myself and the rest will eventually follow."
