Anodyne ROCKS…. Anodyne ROLLS…. Anodyne gets into your face and makes you sit up and take notice!

**Our sound files aren't the best quaility..... we recorded them ourselves, live, in the garage where we practice during a Sunday afternoon practice.   We thought it might be best to just let 'er rip and let everyone see what we sound like live... so here it is!  So if you hire us to play for you, this is pretty much what you're going to get..... ( although the longer we play together the better we get, and we've already improved since this recording).**

When Todd “ Shop” Schoettmer & Todd Behny, formerly of “Linchpin”, teamed up with Julie Shafer & Bob Dodge from the band “Higher Ground”, we knew this wasn’t going to be your average Northern Indiana band.  Almost immediately it was obvious that this was that “right mix” of talent most people can only dream of finding.  And let’s face it, most female fronted bands don’t get taken very seriously…… that WON’T be the case with Anodyne.  This band won’t be pigeonholed into playing only bubblegum, girly pop songs. Julie’s commanding, penetrating vocals pierce through the “gender barrier” and deliver on everything from smoldering Johnny Cash to hard rocking Zeppelin tunes, and with “Shop's” scorching leads and Bob’s thumping, driving bass lines, you’ve got to have a drummer powerful enough to lead them all, and that’s exactly what we have in Todd….. His forceful, heart stopping repertoire of inexhaustible back beats are the backbone of the band.

Now booking, clubs, bars, parties, barns, rooftops.. hell, we'll play anywhere you want us!
