We are the band Antidae (pronounced an.tid.a), a five piece band from Camrose, Alberta, Canada. Our style of music lies within the lines of post hardcore, metal core, and progressive metal, all combined into a structure that we like to call Antidae. Travis Gosling, composer and the original founding member of Antidae, met up with Nova Scotia breaded fellow guitarist Marcel Comeau. After a few months, bassist John McCune came into the fold and gave the bass groundwork and rhythm section. Tommy Acosta came in one evening for a listen and received a demo recording for him to work lyrics. When he came back he gave it his all and was instantly in the band, completing the current Antidae line-up. Everyone is extremely dedicated and passionate in their own craft and from there fuse their own signature compositional and improvisational styles to make something that's original, powerful, passionate and dedicated to the craft of music. We are Antidae.
