HaHailing from Dongola IL is Alterntative Metal supergiant Artifakt. In-Your-Face style, infectious lyrics, and catchy rythhms create a unique sound that only we have. You've heard the rest, now rock out with the best! Artifakt was forged late in the year 2006 when drummer Jeremy Page and vocalist Chris Powles hooked up with local rythm guitarist Joey Lovell. Chris and Jeremy met through a mutual friend that suggested they make a band. They formed a group that rocked out for fun but they decided to start a band that would be more serious and expressive. Joey Lovell soon joined. When he joined, it laid the foundation for the bands music. He blended his classic rock influnces with the modern sound that Chris was in to and combined it with the prog-metal influenced rythms of Jeremy. When they got together, music flowed. They tried out some lead guitarist and it just wasnt what they were looking for.
