ARTIST REVIEW

A Thousand Years - A band with only one song on their myspace, is usually not the best sign, but when there song is as fuckin awesome as this one, I think ‘A Thousand Years’ can be let off. There’s this sort of mature Enter Shikari feel to them on top of an Alexisonfire melodic yet explosive sound which works well together creating a completely un-original yet fantastic sound. There are a lot of bands out there trying to do what the Guilford boys do but I think none of them can fully achieve the sound and coherency that ATY find. I only hope they keep writing songs like ‘Let Me In’ and keep trying to boost their profile for if they do, then in all honesty, sky is the limit. 8/10 'Kyle Driver'
