Underground producer, Backdraft hails from Virginia Beach by way of Philadelphia. Drawing influences by hip hop producers The Neptunes, Kanye West, ?uestlove, and 9th Wonder, Backdraft offers a soulful contemporary sound that can't be fully categorized other than as Hip Hop. His first project, a concept album entitled, "Backdraft Presents: The Metaphysical" is an ambitious work that explores human nature in the form of music with features from several talented artists including Keynote Speaker, Johnny's Daughter, Nov1ce, The Sleepless Poets, 88 Phingas, Logic and many more.
