We are a 5 Piece Rock band from Leicestershire.

The line up is -

Chris - Lead Vox

Baja - Lead Guitar

Dec - Rhythem Guitar

Kieran - Bass

Ash - Drums

Starting way back in early 2002 BaJ, Ash and Chris started jamming and playing covers. Basic Demos were recorded but nothing serious ever came about.

After going through many various member changes, BackLine eventually recruited Kieran and Dec as the new rhythm section!!. 2005 saw BackLine gigging heavily across the Midlands. They began to take things a hell of alot more seriously which then payed off, as they wrote new and improved better songs.Thus, this led to the band gaining a strong fan base in their Local area and across the Midlands.

In the last 2 years BackLine have worked hard and gained high profile support slots with signed acts such as MY AWESOME COMPILATION, FONY, UNCLE BRIAN, WHITMORE and DRIVING ON THE RIGHT to name afew.

In October 2006 BackLine recorded their debut E.P at Deadline Studios with Adam Ellis (producer of My Awesome Compilation). Backline's Debut Demo E.P titled "Make It Last" containing 6 tracks was released on December 11th 2006.

Their main influences are...... Feeder, Foo Fighters, Papa Roach and Creed.

BackLine are currently taking bookings for gigs and are planning a UK Tour for late 2007!. They are also at present writing new material and planning to record a follow up to their debut C.D in August 2007! The Future looks Bright for one of the Most Determined Bands In The Midlands!!!!!!
