Deidre Jones was born and raised in Richmond, Virginia. Growing up exposed to alot of different situations and experiences she needed a way to "Get away". Her only escape was through music, blocking out life with a pair of studio headphones for YEARS. By her 5th grade year she began to record her feelings using poetry and songs. A mature mind at a very young age is what shocked people that heard her songs. At age 15 she met a DJ from New Orleans that made way to Virginia by force of Katrina, he too did music. Becoming friends, one day she rapped for the DJ and he was amazed. Immediatly they joined forces to be what is called today 5pointNyne Enterprise (an underground record label including other artists: 5cott Major [introduced by BaM] and M. Logix). All with difference styles; teamed up and gained fans in Virginia. There were issues with actually recording tracks at DJ NyneMillz studio.. That's when 5pointNyne's group member 5cott Major introduced the rest of the label to an artist name Q Fields and the "NF Clique", they recorded material with him repeatedly and finally began to be heard in the year of 2011. Deidre (Bam) Jones worked hard and built her own studio, where she will work on her mixtape, production and her own promotion. 5pointNyne's name remains circulating throughout the internet world and BaM's dedication to break into the mainstream music industry continues. With shows on the way and much more, she wonders about what direction she's headed; "hopefully the road to success".
