About Band
Bauxhead’s Kim Cullen (New Zealand) and Steve Webb (UK) got chatting in their local cafe. While comparing notes on migrating to Australia they found a common obsession with music. Having both been in bands and written songs in their native countries, they decided to check out the creative vibe and collaborate on some new material. The first songs came quickly, with Kim strong on melody and harmonies and Steve providing the arrangements and rock based backing tracks. So far the results are good solid rock/pop songs with hooks and melodies you can actually remember. They know this because friends say they have been humming Bauxhead tunes in the office, in the shower, on the train, for the dog, in the pub, on the phone, in the car, on the beach, in shops, in bed ….
