Ed Duquemin has toured Australia performing in venues from Entertainment centres to Arnhemlandand and recorded 7 albums many with the acclaimed electronica world groovers Gondwana attracting ARIA nominations, an award and many great reviews such as “understated brilliance 9/10” Rolling Stone. His drumming style and dance music collaborations in London have helped create an oz/uk fusion resulting in BEATRONICA.
He is joined on stage by Mauritian born vocalist, Martine Ferriere, a powerful, dynamic soulful singer. She's a charmer, with good karma and will captivate and entertain you with a blend of soulful emotion. Martine has performed with prominent Melbourne funk & soul, disco and r&b bands, including a ten piece band for over a decade.
French mover dub shaker the Ant 1 now living in Oz drops euro influenced bass on the act. The Antman has performed with several bands in France including heavy metal and dub based acts. His dub groove will tran-send the vibe to a trippy sensation covered with a spicy french dressing.
The band play material with keyboardist and, platinum record awardee Wayne Miller, Ed and Skye Staniford plus contempory pieces by new comer Sydney composer Tytan.
BEATRONICA incorporate graphics into the live performance with vj Nafe delivering a sensation of juicy visuals to the uplifting beat. A re-mastered live recording of the track "Deep Water" is in production and scheduled for a forthcoming release for web and tv.
