Hey my names Bev. I play guitar sing and write songs. It is my aspiration to become successful in this so that i can do it full time!
I have played guitar for four years, sang for five years and wrote for four years. My inspiration to write music generally comes from things such as depression, happiness, frends, men, confusion, frustration and of course from the artists i have grown up listening too...
My biggest influences inclde, Michael jackson, No doubt, Alanis morrisette, Brighteyes, RiloKiley,Thrice,Brandnew,millencollin,weezer,sheryl crow,greenday,Thurday,Theoffspring,Idiot pilot,Bloc party, Blur, Oasis, Steriophonics and many more.
I play around birkenhead and liverpool on various open mic nights in such places as ' the dragon, 'the hotel california,' hannahs bar, and the jacoranda. I have played a few gigs and recently got through in a small talent competitoon in birkenheads to the final. I am working on getting more gigs around my area and other surrounding areas. Anything to keep playing music really. I play accoustically at the moment but would appreciate a small band in tyhe future to compliment my songs.
I also love recording music and have been experimenting with that few years. Some of the songs i've recorded have been by me or either my a freinds who have helped out with computerised drums and bass ect.
