Kentrel "B.Gutta" Gaines grew up in Rochester, New York's North West side Dewey Avenue, with dreams of being the best MC since a young adolescent. Listening to such unique songs produced by Bad Boy's own Notorious B.I.G, titled "Juicey", and "Sky is the limit", influenced B.Gutta by giving him the steady motivation he needed to have while growing up in the rough area's he did. Today most folks living in poverty are skeptical of what they can achieve, which in most cases can cause them to give up or think that a dream resembling B.Gutta is out of reach. That's not something B.Gutta chose to do. Due to the influence of such remarkable rap artist’s such as Christopher "B.I.G" Wallace (R.I.P), B.Gutta began taking his chances having just a pen, notebook, and hope. B.Gutta began writing songs based on his life and the everyday struggles he has been through. B.Gutta talks about the lost of his biological father due to smoking cocaine, the early death of his step father due to his murder, and some of the dilemmas he has been through himself. These experiences help B.Gutta out with writing lyrics without having to fabricate about things he never had or been through. B.Gutta makes hip hop music that expresses topics such as his struggles, the club scene, slow R&B, and up lifting songs. What makes him special is his ability to write his own heart felt lyrics. B.Gutta grabs the ears of his listeners; he's been told that his music has touched many people. B.Gutta has performed at a variety of venues in the city of Rochester, club 147 in downtown Atlanta, and for his high school as well where crowds were packed with at least one to two hundred people. B.Gutta was still able to move them! B.Gutta is an artist and leader with a lot of potential. He offers you music with substance. Today B.Gutta continues to strive and work smarter and harder to achieve his goals of being the best MC. He has two mix tapes under his belt. The first mix tape is titled, “A HEAD OF MY TIME", and the second is titled, “The Brain Storm". Listeners feel that the “Brain Storm” mix tape really gives you a glimpse at the fun, real, and down to earth person B.Gutta really is. He feels the project is major himself. B.Gutta mix tapes are selling consistently he continues to receive numerous requests for his mixed tapes.
