But the “I’m cooling” mantra perfectly describes his laid back sound. Big Greg has been doing music since his parents put a drum in front of him at a early age. Hip Hop came natural, during college freestyle sessions he would come up with the best punch lines that would create his moniker P.L.K. Big Greg is not your average Hip Hop artist, he is a musician. He incorporates hot lyrics, a laid back flow, dope hooks and he's isn't afraid to showcase all of his musical attributes.

Big Greg is a family man. He is the proud father of a baby boy who inspires him to strive nothing less than the best. He currently resides in Charlotte with his son and fiancée. His dedication to his craft comes from his life lessons and his ability to create music in a way that makes you feel good and that you can groove too. Songs like “My Child” and “Important” show you his diversity and his ability to articulate his love for his family in a way that his fans can enjoy.

Big Greg says he uses music to help him through life situations, and this holds true on his latest mix tape “Last Chance.” Big Greg has his work cut out for him, but he’s up to the task.
