BJ BOWERS BIO           Born into a musical family, Bobby Calvin Bowers, Jr., also known as BJ,  is in a league all of his own. Grandson of local blues singer, Nappy Brown, who wrote ray charles "night time is the right time." BJs music presents a message geared toward helping and uplifting his audiences as we all make our way through our lives, our loves and our emotions. BJ aka “MIB (the Music Industry Burglar)" is always recording. His music embodies the term, “R&B; Street” because his music is rooted in his upbringing in the “streets" of Newberry, South Carolina. Each song touches on real life situations and experiences to evoke a natural response of understanding and familiarity with his audiences. BJ has traveled the country singing in shows with Lil Boosie, Roscoe Dash, Nappy Roots, Anthony Hamilton, Travis Porter, Dwele, SILK, Mint Condition and numbers of others. His travels have carried him from New York City to Florida & LA all the way to Atlanta, GA – where he resides. He is currently in the studio working on mixtapes and original material waiting for the right opportunity to be heard by the world. BJ Bowers is going to take the music industry by storm as he woos audiences from across the country and graces popular music with his writing and vocal ability.
