<BR> Black7 packs a full punch of Southern adrenaline. The band's music is a heavy, rollicking take on Southern rock. Muscular hard rock with its roots below the Mason-Dixon line, Black7's music is the aural version of a strong shot of whiskey. It's tough but flavorful. The music is heavy and packed out with not only chunky grooves but also strong songwriting sensibilities. Black7 hasn't forgotten its melody in the process of turning up the rock power. <BR>

<BR> Think of Black7's music as the soundtrack for those who won't be stopped. It's the songs to listen to while drinking or fighting or even during a rowdy session of lovemaking. It's music with teeth. And it's a reflection of the musicians in the band. These aren't folks to mess with, be it in a bar or in the music industry. Music is a goal from which they won't be deterred. They, like their music, are tough and smart and they never give an inch. <BR>

<BR> Black7 says its music is songs that are honest about life. Life kicks your butt one day but you come out top another. And Black7's songs are about both aspects. There's no varnish here, no false shine. This is how it really is, straight and to the point. “We create honest music about life and its ups and downs,” according to Black7. <BR>

<BR> Inspiration <BR>

<BR> Focusing on the ups and downs of life gives Black7 plenty to write about. There's lots of messed up stuff in the world just waiting to be made into a song and there are plenty of good times to translate into music, as well. Be it a barroom brawl, a hot babe, booze and friends, war or love, there's never a shortage of potential material for the band that knows what it's doing. And Black7's got the bull by the horns. “We're inspired by catastrophe, death, life experiences and alcohol,” says Black7, listing just a few of the things that give its music its butt-kicking strength. <BR>

<BR> The Artist at Work <BR>

<BR> Black7's members play hard and work hard. Right now they're staying busy playing shows all around L.A. The rest of the time they're writing and recording music. A new CD is on its way very soon. Black7 is currently working with A&R Select, the world's leading independent artist development firm, based out of Los Angeles. <BR>

Currently black7 has been on hiatis do to personal conflicts with each of the members.Things are looking up for the band, as we will be playing our first show in over 2 years this march. We hope that this will lead to a reunion of the band and a major comeback. We will see how things go, and keep everyone posted as things progress in the future. So wish us luck mother fuckers!
