About Band
Black On High started with a group of guys from the Omaha metal scene. Scott (Fornever/Hollowed), Dan (Downshift/Narcotic Self), Josh (Idle Apathy), and Dave (Fornever/Hollowed) who wanted to do something different. They wanted to write music that was more a reflection of themselves then what they were currently doing. They retraced their influences, and broke out acoustic guitars. Laboring under the assumption that 'some of the best music can be played acoustically as well as plugged in', they began writing. And they kept writing, and the music just kept coming. In September of 2009, Dale Steinhoefel joined the family, and things are better than they ever have been. Dale has a very impressive resume, including Trippin' Default and Eyes Catch Fire. In November of 2009, B.O.H. entered Substar studio in Omaha, NE to record their debut record "The 1st Seal", which is due for a February 2010 release. 2010 will be the year that the four horsemen of B.O.H. will unleash their music upon planet Earth.
