Black Tooth Gryn was formed in late 2003 and has had many different lineups. In the spring of 2006, Turdy Jones Guitarist/Vocalist Jesse Matlock single-handedly revived a dying Black Tooth. Soon after the three remaining members of Turdy Jones decided to join, while still remaining a separate band as "Turdy Jones." Turdy drummer Zack Matlock took over Lead Guitar duties, while Bassist Cody Gullett and Rhythm Guitarist Matt Spayde get up with their usually roles. Since then BTG has played several shows, both headlining and opening for bands such as Vore and Fuck The Facts. Black Tooth Gryn has one disc out right now and are currently writing material for the second offering. 809 Studios recording guru Justin Riley recorded, mixed and mastered the first CD, Grynamania, and will most likely produce and record the second one as well. Riley has produced discs for other bands such as Powerbastard, NonGrata, Turdy Jones and Masau.
