Blackwaters started coming together in Early January 2009 via various website ads looking for musicians. After a quick pint in the Cwrt Rawlin on a Saturday Craig Evans joined Mikey and Jeff and Blackwaters was born! After many status updates looking for a drummer as well as groups, a myspace and fan page all dedicated to the search for musicians Mike Perret auditioned for the drummer spot and joined Blackwaters in mid Febuary, however Blackwaters and Mike parted company in June 09 and has since been replaced by Dan. After auditioning many, many vocalists Gerwyn completed the line up in late August

Based out of Cave Studios in Caerphilly we are currently writing material and will be recording our first demo early October time, including the tracks Failed Fairytale and Insult and Injury
