IN THE BEGINNING… Some years ago, in a village very, very similar to every village in Germany a band was founded that will lead German Punkrock into a new amazing century! Ok, maybe it will take some time, but each one had the vision that he can play in a band. The vision became true as these four members met each other and made the plan to rock the country. All they needed was a mic, a room and electric current to swim against the current! “This revolution needs a name!” They gave themselves the name “No Choice” From this moment you can’t stop the development of this group…. The first gig was on the commencement of a high school in Wietmarschen. All visitors got out of control. With this confirmation and a band-room in Joerg’s house they were brave enough to record their first EP. To exceed all expectations they gave their last money for the records. It was a disaster: An unprofessional sound-mixer destroyed their dream of a fast chart-break. But they were still strong enough to turn the corner for better, for worse… It became calm around this young emergent band.
A NEW BEGINNING… After months on end there came light to the darkest corners of Lohne. “5 new tracks for the nation” A new beginning, a new name was the idea. German words into English. One special kind of cake is famous everywhere in the world. It’s the “Blackwood Cherrycake” in German “Schwarzwälder Kirschtorte“. And after a long journey of pain…..The new EP came!
