Introducing, Blaq $hea (Louisville, Ky) C.E.O. of Hood Records Inc. This self made Indie Artist got his start from the love of music & his people. In 2006 he was nominated, along with his label HOOD RECORDS, for "Rookies Of The Year " at the 2007 KYMP (Kentucky Music Pool) Awards. He has been featured on several local & regional mixtapes such as Hot Off Da Block III, KYMP Camp DJ Conference Mixtapes, Broadway Bangers by Michael "Determined" Barber, & more. His hit single "Kool-Aid" featuring Smoke E. Digglera has been heard on B96's "Hit it or Quit it" and KISS FM's "The VIBE" along with street hit "Clean As A Whistle" (featuring KD). Blaq $hea has performed at Source Magazine's "The Source of HIP-HOP Tour", Headliners, Expo Five, Crazy Coconuts, Petrus, and Willow Lake Tavern. He is also featured in magazines like Ozone Magazine - Derby Issue, L.E.O magazine - Jan. 3rd 2007 issue, & the online magazine "On The Rise".
