Bleedin Eejits

About Band

BLEEDIN EEJITS aren't anybody's fools. They have been up in their social observation blinds for a long time. Their new CD, entitled "The Village Idiot", was inspired by a T'shirt and bumper sticker design, the content of which was: "Some Town In Texas Has Lost It's Village Idiot", or something to that effect. It was probably during the last presidential election in the United States of America. The Bleedin Eejits' disdain for idiocy possesses no borders though; not national borders, religious borders, or racial borders. The Bleedin Eejits consider themselves "World Citizens" and "Planetary Citizens", sharing this hurtling rock with all species, as one living family. Therefore, their humerous yet poignant musical and lyrical expressions spring forth upon all continents and all human beings, without prejudice. The first song uploaded to this site is entitled "SINK DOWN", a very humerous yet factual observation on all things social and political, as well as criminal, in the great isle known as "The U.K." or "England". All the idiocy of the U.K is layed asunder by the Eejits in this fast paced punkesque tune with lyrics addressing everything from the pedofilic priesthood, to useless government structures, to bar fools and of course Charles and Diana, to mention a mere glimpse into the vast array deposited herein. The second song uploaded here is entitled "SNOWHITE FOREST" and provides a psychedelic, Celtic flavor wrestled from the snowy forests of an hallucinatory mushroom experience from the band's youth in Akron, Ohio. Then there is the song entitled "DEM FOLK",  a humerous but real look into the afflicted minds of crack heads, alcoholics, the blind religious and deceitful political types frequenting our daily lives here in America the Beautiful. The song not only employs engaging lyrics to hold our attention, but also fast changes through nearly every time signature known to the world of music, and a few that even the orchestra charter had trouble defining and scoring. Don't think for a minute that this band is just all good times and hysterical lyrics; they are accomplished musicians. Contact them at: bleedineejits@yahoo.com if you can stand the rain without an umbrella. This isn't the band you listen to if you're inclined to hide from the world on your sofa, with a valium and several cocktails. This band took the windshield off their vehicle so they could feel all of life on their faces.
