Blodwen (meaning: /white flower/ in Welsh) is a gothic melodic power metal band from the East. Blodwen combines power metal, gothic atmosphere, melodic guitars and powerful vocals to create spirited music that's guaranteed to keep your heads banging!

Blodwen started as a j-rock cover band called Private Joker, but they had to suffer hiatus due to the departure of the lead vocalist & frontwoman for further studies. 2009 marked the change in their vision and music, where Blodwen now is harder, darker, and rocking more than ever!
