About Band
hello we are blue door and reside in mechanicville in up state ny, we have about 12 songs that we have composed our selves and play out often at local venues. we started in about 9th grade or so as a small 3 piece band in our bass players house(which had a blue door in front) and as we learned our instruments together we slowly grew into a five piece which is what we are today. The band Members are Alex Newman lead vox electric keys and acoustic, Jonathan Noonan lead guitar pianist and vox, Tryler Tracey rythem guitar brass and vox, Will Houle bass, and Kenny Day drums and other percution. the bands we were most influenced by were the Allman Brothers, Block Crows, Pink Floyd, Blues Traveler, The Beatles, and Dispatch. we consider our selves to be a bit of a jam band with an alternitive edge, and that is our goal to bring back the "music" in music and bring back the love for the music and not just what the band is wearing and the other fads that come with music today. We as a band have grown together and really all have different feels for music from progresive rock-too funk-to jazz-to down right southern rock.
