About Band
Blue River are a 4 piece band from Cornwall, who formed in 2006 and started doing live gigs in bars in 2008. The lead singer -Perran Nicholls- met the other three band members at college.
The band consists of; Owain Barret, the lead guitarist; Oli Perry the bass player; Ross Manna the drummer and Perran Nicholls- the lead singer and the songwriter for the band. As mentioned, the music performed is composed by Perran and his main influences are: The Beatles, Oasis, The Who and Kasabian.
The best way to describe their music is Indie/Rock and occasionally rock/pop as well as heavy rock, so that the music appeals to a wider audience.
Their song "Let it Lie" has been played on the local radio many times and they are in line to send more songs in for them to be played.
They have also signed up for "BBC introducing" in order to get more well known. The band aims to be touring the UK in the future doing many gigs and sharing their passion for music and rock with those who they cross paths with.
