About Artist

BBest known for his self-penned "Because of You, RhythmTrain, and Lost Lonely feelin Blue" Bobby Pizazz is a honky-tonk story teller a bluesy-jazzy singer and songwriter whose work help's serve to bridge the gap between all genres of Music and generations. MST (Music Story Teller)

The second of five children, Bobby Joe was born on December 3, 1951, in Flint, MI, and earned his nickname after an incident involving adlibbing a song for a wedding gift. He became interested in music at a young age and according to Ptaszenski family legend, he even mowed lawns at a Bottle  Gas Plant in Flint from age nine to eleven, two summers, for a guitar and six dollars.

When he and sister first sang a duet at the church, he was on his mission to sing to the world. Several years later at 13, Pizazz followed and joined his first band, the Ptaszenski's, with his two cousins in Flint in 1964. He continued to perform local until he was drafted to serve and then enlisted in the Vietnam area in 1970. After returning from hornets nest red tape state side, Pizazz began performing in the Michigan-Cleveland-area and a television program in 1982,

In 1984, Pizazz and his family moved to Nashville, was in the movie "Sweet Dreams" as an extra, cut his first record with drummer Johnnie Sturdivant & John Rich in late 1985 "Lost Lonely Feelin Blue." He joined Hoffman & lamb as a writer and cut many songs in 1987-1988 and worked behind the scenes on Voice of America LP. He was introduced to Scotty Turner in the late part 1989. Began shaping his vocals and image and was asked in 1991 to perform on TNN's American Magazine TV program.

Soon after the last airing in May 1991, his career came to an abrupt stop when a back stage mishap left him with a broken neck. 15 years later In 2006 he began to perform live shows again and is currently recording a new CD with the help of some old friends. While he never scored any chart successes, and very little radio airplay in the states, his music's evolution in chord structures is like poetry to straightforward story telling, and has proved to be influential with other musicians.

"I have a song in my soul, I have a story that must be told, as I write these songs I tell of life, but if you listen close you will see, that this is not just my song, but ours in Joy or strife. I'm a Music Story Teller, A songman".
