We Are BORG! The desert hell known as Arizona gives life to a Heavy Metal Force to be reckoned with.
BORG - Started in July of 2007, BORG was formed by Joe Terborg Lead singer and Waylon Wood on lead Guitar. Then they recruited Jason "THOR" Stein on Rhythm guitar. A steady drummer and bassist were hard to find. They looked no further than the brothers DePaul, Matt on drums and Chris on bass would complete the lineup, and help pave the way for a new brand of AZ desert bred thrash. Now with their own sound established, they move on to dominate the world of Heavy Metal music, WITH BORG METAL!
Today the desert, tomorrow the world. We are BORG! You will be assimilated.
Joe Terborg (Lead Singer and Song Writer) – Joe has fronted many bands for many years with his great showmanship and awesome singing voices. Always knowing he would have this band he dreamed of called BORG, this day came in July 2007 he would assemble his dream band. If you like the head banging sound of BORG Metal, you won’t be disappointed when you see them live. Joe’s ability to capture an audience and take them for a metal ride is untouched! You have to see to believe it.
Waylon Wood (Lead Guitar, Thrash Metal Backups ) – Waylon has been playing guitar for many years and had been with a few bands, then he heard about this new and exciting project called BORG, this very talented guitarist brought his creative sound and his ability to play to the audience with his music.
Jason Stein (Death Metal Vocals, Rhythm Guitar) – Jason was floating around from band to band when he found BORG. A talented man, who need a great band, with his deep commanding Death metal Backup’s and his vast talent on many different string instruments, he was a welcome addition to the project, Jason is the Head Bang factor!
Matt DePaul (Drums) – By a twist of fate and one Craig’s list posing later, we found our Versatile Drummer, in Matt. He brings his band experience from New Jersey, with his double kick, creative beats and his great stage presents… He gets the job done.
Chris DePaul (Bass and Backup Singer) – This was a lucky catch with a brother Drummer and Bass duet, Chris brings a deep blasting tones to the BORG Metal sound. You will love watching him on stage, and from the Mosh pit when you hear this baser and singer get down.
