' You could say that ' Brian ' has alway's had a thing for music as far back as early childhood....... From the drum's, guitar, vocal's and even the family piano that sat in the living room all through the 1970's...... ' Brian ' played them all....... As years went by and the 1980's came along, ' Brian Keithley ' the drummer, had arrived, paying his due's drumming in several band's around New england, and the band " TT STRIP " who had some regional success touring constantly up and down the east coast ( from Maine to Florida ) and all over the greater Boston area..... As the mid 1990's approached after touring for nearly ( 10 ) year's ' Brian ' got back to what moved him as a youngster, ( the singer/songwriter style of music ) forming and fronting the acoustic trio " LAYNEY GRAYED " as lead singer/rythm acoustic, releasing a ( 5 ) song cd titled " THE WISE MAN "......  As the year 2000 came along ' Brian ' still continued to write and record strictly going under his own name releasing a ( 3 ) song cd titled " SHORT STORIE'S "..... Now in his early 40's with his own recording studio and recently becoming a new member of the " Maine songwriter's association " ( M. S. A ) plan's to release another ( 8 ) song cd sometime in ( 2010 ) .... and hopefully many more short storie's turning into song's to come in the future...... One thing is for sure.... as long as ' Brian Keithley ' is here on earth, he will try to be true to everyone he meet's along the way in the journey of life.... and most of all, do it.... staying true to himself as a person and an artist.... Thanx....                   -press clip-     ~ Brian Keithley's music is a breath of fresh air......
