Broken Roots was formed in the fall of 2006 by Jimmy Sheehan and Adam Lee-Hawkins. Starting as an all acoustic band, the two of them worked on an 11 song album titled "The Roots". Wanting to incorporate more into their music the both of them started looking for the other missing pieces. In the early spring of 2008 Broken Roots found their drummer Nick Fones; who added a new intensity to the music as well as the band. The summer came quick and so did bass player Andrew Spear. Andrew brought the funk into to the band as well as his great ear for solid sound and mixing! Currently the band is working on the new album titled "New Life" and are hoping for a release some time during the summer of 2009. Scratch tracks of all the new progress as well as completed new songs will be posted ASAP! Any input and or feedback is appreciated!
