During his last semester studying music at Millikin University, Mike had a dream to continue his work pioneering jam rock. Starry-eyed and determined to preserve the jams, Mike proposed to his schoolmate Kenny the idea of creating a serious musical group. Kenny having already sold his soul for guitar skills, naturally accepted the invitation. Mike's brother Kyle has a reputation for over-the-top performances and living life on the edge. It was decided that he would be the lead singer. Kenny invited Joe, his associate in jams, to join the band and rock out his keyboard rig consisting of vintage organs, keyboards, and synthesizers. In the foursomes quest for a drummer, they decided to import Amir from Kentucky. Amir's innovative rhythms and good vibes would seal the deal. The band decided to make home in Decatur for the time-being. They signed a lease together for the summer of 2009 in the Space House and are currently jammin' it out all night and everyday. Inspired by the Millikin University Bronzeman's never-ending quest for meaning, the group named themselves after him honored to follow his lead.
