About Artist
born in 1960 weened on am radio hits of the 70s ,didn't realize i was a musician and not just a fan til age 19 when i started singing rock one day at my brothers request .had my heart broken the same year and started writing gushy lyrics ,then started writing 100s and 1000s of them .still just a singer with a lot of things to say it wouldnt be til later when i was in my 30s i started to teach myself keys ,(quit every band i ever had because of their lack of creativity) I went to Musicians Institute in LA for their second semester of the vocal school(VIT)
i wanted to get a little more serious and make music more mainstream and popular than the heavy metal.
soon i started having 100s of my own songs i would create on keyboards .all my early influences came through giving me a sound of classic rock ,prog rock ,new wave of british heavy metal (ufo etc) 70s soul
ballads and vocal .i do all the stuff still,on a keyboard only .i have only scrappy demos of everything .i do them very hurriedly ,because no matter what i do ,its never good enough for me ,and will never sound like the grammy record i have in my head!but talk is cheap ,you can hear the diversity and authenticity in SIXTY (60)
