New unsigned UK band influenced by numan/rock/electronic/goth
Created 2004 and looking for new band members with same influences and musical aspiration to join/record and gig.
As a fan of Numan - not just as a performing artist, his pioneering music, but as a credible and genuine person in himself - since 1978/79 post punk era, I have enjoyed his musical career over the decades, and have admired his resiliance to the unfounded critism of his work thru good and ?????bad periods. The work I do pales into comparision to where Numan is at present, but feel his influence musically filters thru my own writing and I unashameadly admit to his influence as the major factor in my work.
Main image shown is front cover from second cd compilation "Darkest Blue" - includes cover version of "Metal" - inspirational classic track written by the Godfather himself Gary Numan (Album 'Pleasure Principle"). This particular track inspired me enormously back in 1980 to persue a passion for writing and performing music. Thank you Gary.
Looking to expand band and get back into gigs and management/writing collaborations with other bands/artists. Have had material used for film and more than happy to compose for individual film score offers
