Intro:
We are Casket Snatch. We are the remains of Shadows of Lucifer picking up the pieces and moving on. we are a shock rock band in Arizona.

History:
We started as The Impailers back in 2001. the Band was Alex Brown - Vocals, Austin Kramer - Guitar, & Shawnee Salazar - Drums. we really went nowhere with that until we got our second guitarist Matt. Shawnee quit because he lived to far. That was when The Chad joined the band. We then Disowned Matt due to some difficulties & Ryan joined. With this new line up we changed our name to Shadows of Lucifer. Just shortly after this our Bassist Greg Theodos joined the band, & our Drummer The Chad quit. With this our friend Michael Martin joined as our drummer.

We recorded our first song titled "redruM" in February of 2006. Shortly after this recording Ryan quit the band to try to form his own project called "Gunshot Lullaby", it is also around this time that our friend Derek's band had problems & was no longer so we asked him to be our Guitarist & he gladly did. Once we had our first band practice with him in the band & he showed us the new lead guitar he had in mind for "redruM" we where really impressed & knew that he was perfect & our band was now complete with a final set of members that are willing to stick with this band.

In May of 2006 we then entered Ryan's recording room to record "redruM" the demo album. The demo included a re-recorded version of "redruM", an intro Alex & Derek made, & 3 other tracks in which included a song called "Bonding To(get)her" which instantly became a fan favorite. With this track list and a few cover songs we where ready for our first show. We played our first show ever with "Fury of Assault", "Incision", & "Demons of Mass Destruction" on May 27th at "Metal Night at Ed's". a party Ed, the vocalist of "Fury of Assault", threw. it was a great night. Many people didn't even know this was our first show.

In June of 2006 we played our first actual show at "The REAL Bar" in Tempe. The shows line up was "Incision", our band, "Messenger", & "Fury of Assault". we brought in the most people that night, which I personally feel was an accomplishment for being our first actual show.

In July of 2006 we then entered Dave's home recording studio to record "Out of Nowhere" our 2nd demo album to be recorded. It featured re-recorded versions of the tracks from the "redruM" album & a new track. We also included a bonus track of us just free styling in a sound check. This demo was our biggest yet, with many people downloading the songs off of Myspace.com, & findagoth.com, & was requested by fans for copies of the demo.

Over the next few months we played at "The Big Fish Pub" & once again brought in more than double the other bands playing that night, & a couple of house parties with our lead guitarists other band "The Zoinks" opening for us.

In October of 2006 Derek Sadly quit to go his own way with his other band "The Zoinks". So we got our roadie Tyler Dodge to play lead guitar for us. he has been a guitarest for a while now & was formerly lead guitarest for "Metalphiliea".

February 14th 2007: Shadows of Lucifer performs the last show as Shadows of Lucifer. The last song of the night Derek, our former lead guitarest, came up on stage to play "Bonding To(get)her". After the show Tyler quit. Now We begin Casket Snatch
