Chaneé (pronounced: Shuh-nay) is a multi-talented Singer, Songwriter, Actress, Dancer, Model, CEO and All-round Entertainer. She has had a love of music from a very young age. Her extraordinary talents were discovered by family and friends at the age of 3 years old. After realizing the strength in her voice at the age of 5 she immediately started performing with several different theater companies.
Chaneé wrote her first song at the age of 7 and has since become an acclaimed songwriter. With phenomenal talent and several years of musical theatre under her belt she decided to attend Duke Ellington School of the Arts (Washington D.C.) to further her training as a well-rounded performer, striving for excellence in singing, acting, and dancing. Chaneé then graduated from The University of the Arts (Philadelphia, PA) and is ready to take the world by storm.
Most recently, Chaneé has joined Rock Star Entertainment and TM Muzix Entertainment as a Producer for “Proof Positive” an underground music video show that promotes and honors the world’s unseen artist, which she is also the Host. Though featured in several motion pictures and television shows such as NBC’s My Name is Earl (TV), Bill Duke’s Cover (FILM), MC Johnson’s Incorporated (FILM) she continues to mesmerize audience with her strong, rich, soulful voice and cutting edge, innovative sultry live performances.
Blessed to be a triple threat with a five octave powerhouse vocal range she lets her music conveys healing, celebration and empowerment through songs about love, relationships, spirituality, moving forward and having fun. She performs with a unit of talented back-up dancer, back-up singers and musician who support her onstage performance. Chaneé has been requested and demanded to perform in several VIP private and public events night clubs, cafes and theaters including The Lincoln Theater, The Warner Theater, Dillon's Cabaret Lounge, Jokes On Us Comedy Club, PBU Jazz Cafe, The Prince Music Theatre and the world renowned Untied Palace Theater among others.
