About Artist
I was born and raised in Plymouth, Massachusetts and have been singing, performing and writing songs since the age of 13. Over the years I have been the lead vocalist in cover bands that played everything including: rock, pop, disco, blues, gospel, Motown, Do-woop, and country. My originals lend themselves to the country story telling and traditional style which has proven successful for me. In 2003 I relocated to Nashville to pursue my career as a singer/songwriter. During the time I lived in Nashville I performed at Legends Corner, Tootsies, The Stage, Layla's Bluegrass Inn, Wildhorse Saloon, Robert's Western World and the original Nashville Palace. Recently I have once again relocated, this time to the Flagler Beach area of Florida.
My credits include: 15 year association and voting member of The Recording Academy (NARAS); BMI affiliation; 2003 first round Grammy nomination for Best Female Country Performance; 2003 honorable mention award from Billboard Magazine in songwriting competition; 2005 trophy winning finalist in Sonic Search for A Star held in Franklin, TN; opened for Kathy Mattea; 2005 appeared as an extra in Toby Keith's video - Honky Tonk U; appeared on Charlie Daniels Talent Round-Up; release of first full length CD - "I Keep Dreaming" of all songs written and produced by myself.
