About Band
Korland “KJ” Sims was born in Vallejo, CA on May 19th, 1994. He was raised in Vallejo, Ca and wanted to persue hip hop at a very young age. He attended A dance studio in Vallejo, Ca called Dance unlimited for 2 years, and then decided to start making his own music. At age 12 he became serious with music when he formed a hip hop group, Chrome Cats, with his cousin, sister and two of his sisters friends in 2006. He wrote over 20 songs that summer but only had the chance to record a few. After the summer ended, it was harder for him and his sister to team up with their cousin, so they started writing songs together; however they still kept the same name.
Jamila Sims was born in Vallejo, ca on February 20th, 1997. She was raised in Vallejo and always wanted to be a dancer. In 2004 she attended a dance studio in Vallejo for 3 years named Dance unlimited. She performed at various events and won many trophies. In 2006 Chrome Cats was formed and she began singing and writing songs. She has written many hooks and even though she is not attending dance class, she is still creating multiple routines.
