Not many bands have the good fortune of landing a clothing sponsorship and record deal a mere six months after being formed. It takes the blood, the sweat, the determination and desire to reach that plateau. And for the five members in the Torrance, California based pop-rock band, City Redefined, those attributes were quickly realized. Formed in January, 2007, the five-piece: Mark Avon (lead vocals), Theresa Avon (guitar/vocals), Kyle Shohara (guitar/vocals), Miguel Flores (bass/vocals), and Steven Farrah (drums/vocals), wasted no time getting themselves known. Self-producing and recording a four-song demo and later recording a four-song demo at Lovejuice Laboratories, City Redefined is serious about its music. Although the five-piece has only been together for since January, 2007, they have managed to compete in a Battle of the Bands at Chain Reaction, tour Nevada and Arizona, and land a clothing sponsorship (orRAVAN clothing) and record deal (orRAVAN Records), all the while gaining fans of all ages. This is just the beginning for the band, which plan on embarking on a winter tour in January, 2008, and a full national tour later that summer.
